HOW IT WORKS

When merchandise is sent to us, you will receive a notification upon receipt. It will be processed and evaluated the same day. Based on the customer’s preference, a written offer or a phone call with an offer will follow. Some merchandise requires discussion due to its nature. We maintain open and transparent communication, providing accurate information about merchandise.

Payment is crucial; therefore, after every accepted transaction, the form of payment is sent the same day.

We offer free shipping via UPS or FedEx, insured through Parcel Pro. Loose diamonds are sorted by size and quality and then priced individually. Mounted jewelry is sorted by karat gold and priced at 95% of the stamp. The mounted diamonds are categorized by size and quality. The jewelry’s condition does not matter. We welcome broken, missing diamonds or well-finished jewelry!

OUR STORY

Demond Gems, Inc. was founded by Manes Bejar, who began his journey in the jewelry business in 1995. Starting as a part-time employee at a jewelry store, Manes quickly transitioned to a full-time role, eventually becoming the store manager. After several years, he pursued his venture and established a diamond-importing firm. Leveraging his overseas contacts, he began importing loose diamonds and personally traveled to sell them.

From 2000 to 2008, Manes worked diligently to build the business he had envisioned. However, the 2008 financial crash and recession significantly impacted his operations. During this challenging period, as many of his existing clients faced similar difficulties, Manes pivoted to buying diamonds from his exciting clients, which became a crucial survival strategy for many jewelers.

At Demond Gems, Inc., we pride ourselves not just as diamond buyers, but as diamond consultants. We educate, advise, and ultimately assist clients in selling their diamonds, whether to us or to a higher bidder.
